The Family Development program delivers supportive services to help:  stabilize individuals and families in crisis which includes homeless prevention , the unemployed, and underemployed  to ensure the effective use of resources we conduct client assessments to identify barriers to economic self-sufficiency,  assist with developing individualized life plans to empower clients to achieve self-sufficiency,  advocate for clients while supporting them with accomplishing their goals, and  provide client referrals to designated community partners.
Employment & Training program focuses on employment readiness, customized job development, and placement services. Employment Readiness prepares those seeking employment to enter the workforce with curriculum on resume writing, interviewing skills and job search strategies. The job development segment provides workforce solutions to business partners by matching employers’ expectations with qualified job seekers.
Eligibility Requirements: Participants who wish to enroll in Family Development and Employment Services must meet specific program criteria; including but not limited to: (1) Federal income eligibility guidelines, (2) completion of job readiness and employment training; (3) identification of hardship(s) and; (4) certified documentation as needed (i.e. Nevada state ID / driver’s license, social security card, birth certificate, proof of income, rental agreements, etc.).
